Colts Favorites For The Super Bowl

Yes, I know - I'm not talking about Sunday’s game, which turned out to be the most watched TV program in American history, but rather for next year's Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys stadium. If you're so desperate to have some NFL action while you wait for the season to start again in September, you should probably seek professional help; but if you don't mind locking your money for up to 12 months, Bodog released odds for the 2011 Super Bowl yesterday.

Unsurprisingly, there are very few surprises in Bodog's odds but when all you can do to base your lines on are 2009/10 form with no knowledge of what draft picks and off-season trades a team is going to make then that's what you're going to get. Hence, the 2010 final W/L record and the divisional position are good predictors for the odds to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy next year with all 12 teams making this year's playoffs (shaded) are in the top 18 most favored.

Oakland Raiders fans shouldn't be too disheartened looking at those odds of +10000. There's every chance that Al Davis is going to revolutionize the side in the off season with a combination of smart draft picks along with some crafty trades and free agent moves.
